Colour and Black & White Portraits

All sessions are captured in full colour and presented alongside black & white images. I feel that removing colour reveals an added dimension to an image and enhances character and focuses the mind on the story by hiding distractions.

Outdoor & Location Portraits

I don't have a studio and all my photography is done on location. Children and grown-ups are much more relaxed and don't feel the need for a forced smile. If you are naturally enjoying yourself it will come through on the final result. I cover Northumberland, Tyneside and all of the U.K.

Landscape & Architecture

From my base in Northumberland I explore the county and I also seek out locations in Tyneside, Yorkshire and throughout the UK. I enjoy 'chasing the light' to capture the best shots of locations that I love. Limited editions are available to a maximum of 35 copies and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.

Abstract, Macro & Art

By getting up close to what can seem a dull object, it is possible to reveal an enchanting story into another world. I add to the character of this awe-inspiring world by tweaking the crop and colours till it is perfect. If it doesn't look edited then I have added further magic.
